When it's time to describe the high performing team model I use (Clutterbucks PERILL model) with new clients, I use a version I think will resonate. My newest team does creative things as their day job – I didn’t think a wordy definition would excite them. So, I pulled out an apple tree metaphor version I used with another team a couple of years ago. (That team added resilience to Clutterbuck's original model creating their own bespoke version). My new team have
added birds and worms so far, and refer to themselves a “crew”… so wallah! We have the model below. No doubt there will be further adaptions as work with the team continues.
