Everything we say, and everything we do, impacts everyone else in our immediate and wider network and systems. We are all interlinked, whether we like it or not.
If you have a role that by nature has even more impact on others (leader, teacher, consultant, mentor, coach or team coach, etc) your words and actions carry even more weight. Tatiana Bachkirova emphasises the importance of the coach themselves being the most effective tool in coaching. What you bring, the way you behave and your ability to role model all make an impact in team coaching. I think the same applies to leaders and consultants.
In this short article I talk about the impact I had on a team I worked with. Some of that impact was helpful, and some definitely wasn’t!
