Team coaching as like the chef’s specials. Depending on the environment (or produce in season) we work on what best suits the team at the time. The team (or diner) doesn’t know what they are going to get, they trust the process.
In contrast other types of team development, like training and facilitation, are like a standard menu. It is tried and tested, ingredients are prepared well in advance, and the desired outcome is pre-determined. When you order it, you pretty much know what you’re going to get (chicken parmigiana is chicken parmigiana).
Both menus are good. It depends on what your team needs and how much risk you’re willing to take for high rewards.
